About Ezra S.
I turned 52 and my doctor told me something I wasn’t ready to hear.
My blood pressure was creeping up. My energy was in the basement by 2pm every day. I was gaining weight even though I hadn’t changed how I ate. And the answer I kept getting was the same one you’ve probably heard: “Well, you’re getting older.”
That answer didn’t sit right with me.
So I started digging. Not into fad diets or miracle cures – into the actual research. PubMed studies, NIH data, peer-reviewed journals. The stuff that doesn’t make headlines because it’s not flashy enough for a magazine cover.
What I found changed how I think about aging.
Most of the health advice floating around is designed for 25-year-olds. The supplement industry is built on hype, not evidence. And the things that actually work for people over 40 are often buried under mountains of marketing noise.
I started Healthy Hacks Now to cut through that noise. Every week, I share what I’ve learned – the supplements I’ve actually tested, the habits that moved the needle, and the research that backs it all up. No miracle claims. No “one weird trick” nonsense. Just what I’ve found works for a regular guy in his late 50s who refuses to accept that feeling lousy is just part of getting older.
I’m not a doctor. I’m not a nutritionist. I’m a guy who reads the studies, tries the products, and tells you what happened. That’s it.
If that sounds useful, I send one research-backed health hack every week to over 1,100 readers. No spam, no fluff – just one actionable thing you can use.

What I Write About
- Supplements that actually have evidence behind them (and the ones that don’t)
- Blood sugar, prostate health, joint pain, energy, and sleep – the real issues after 40
- What the research says vs. what the supplement industry wants you to believe
- My own experiments – what I take, what I stopped taking, and why
